Why are there brown spots on the leaves of my Zebra Plant?

Zebra plants are somewhat susceptible to foliar fungal issues caused by improper watering. This can also be a sign your plant is getting watered too often.

Watering

Water when the top 25% of soil is dry. Water the plant around the soil, taking care to never water the leaves, until it runs from the drainage holes. After a few minutes, discard any excess water from the saucer.

Water spots sitting on the plant’s leaves from watering overhead can encourage fungal issues like leaf spot, and excess water may funnel down the stems causing crown rot at the base of your plant.
